Your treatment options

Pain and restriction can come from many places. Back, neck, muscle, joint, foot, posture, old injury. At Amersham Wellness Co. you can see a qualified clinician who will assess the problem, explain what is happening in plain English and recommend a plan. We use hands on treatment, guided rehabilitation, sports massage, acupuncture and podiatry. If you need further investigation or a medical referral we will tell you straight away.

What happens in your first appointment

Your first visit is not guesswork. We take a full case history so we understand the background and when the problem started.

We carry out physical tests. That can include orthopaedic tests, neurological tests and a look at movement and posture.

We explain what we believe is happening and what the options are.

If treatment is appropriate and you are happy to proceed, we begin.

Your first appointment usually takes around 45 minutes. Follow up sessions are usually 15 to 20 minutes.

You can choose your appointment time right now through our online booking system.
